Prince George At His First Day Of School Is All Of Us On A Monday

Despite the forthcoming weekend, it's technically Monday for us East Coasters who are ushering in the official first day of New York Fashion Week. And it appears the feeling is mutual for Prince George, who—through photographic proof—not-so-much-welcomed his first day of school this morning.

Before news of her third pregnancy (and severe form of morning sickness) nearly broke the internet, Kate Middleton was expected to chaperone her son to campus. Fortunately, the little prince still received his royal escort thanks to his father, Prince William, who held the four-year-old's hand upon arrival at Thomas's Battersea in London. Apparently that wasn't enough to subdue the expressive tot's true feels—because in classic George fashion, he wasn't exactly all smiles.

Politely and graciously however, George released his father's grip to shake hands with the head of the lower school, Helen Haslem.

Then he betrayed his nerves while Prince William and the educator exchanged pleasantries on the way to his classroom. Eh, he's already heir to the British throne—we'll give him an A for effort.
