Last night, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance—and an emotional speech—at the CFDA Awards, where she was celebrated with the ceremony’s Fashion Icon Award. Her mother, Tina Knowles, was in attendance, and Bey shouted her out as her very first costume designer. Also in attendance at the event in a show of support for the undisputed queen of 2016 were Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy, who were snapped in one of the most adorable photos of the year. It’s only Tuesday, but somehow this photo makes it feel like a Friday. After all the drama, nothing makes us happier than seeing this power family surviving and thriving.
