Blake Lively, SJP And Ellen Were The Biggest Winners At The People’s Choice Awards

by Samantha McDonald

Everyone loves the People’s Choice Awards. It’s because the power to vote for your favorite actresses and artists rests firmly in your hands. So we were thrilled this year to see some of our favorite celebs not only dazzle the red carpet, but also snap up much-deserved awards. Some of our fave winners included Blake Lively for favorite dramatic movie actress, Sarah Jessica Parker for favorite premium series actress and Ellen DeGeneres, who won in three different categories and made history as the most-decorated PCA winner with 20 awards total. (She also recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honor in the country. Cue applause!) Blake then won over the audience when she thanked them for voting “for girl power,” and SJP taught us a lesson in balancing priorities by ditching the after-party for her daughters’ piano recital. Just another reminder that there are some incredibly inspiring women in Hollywood who are beautiful on the inside and out.
