Here’s Your First Look At Lady Gaga’s And Bradley Cooper’s New Movie

by Samantha McDonald

Just when you thought the release of her new single “The Cure” at Coachella was the biggest thing Lady Gaga had planned for the weekend, here comes another bombshell: The Oscar-nominated pop superstar is making her first run as a leading lady in none other than Bradley Cooper‘s directorial debut, the Warner Bros. remake of A Star Is Born. (The plot follows Bradley’s Jackson Maine, a country music performer who discovers a talented but unknown Ally, played by Gaga.) In fact, she is even filming during her time in Indio and is enlisting the help of her Little Monsters. Fans who are still in the Coachella Valley are invited to purchase tickets for $10 to participate as extras in the movie while the production crew continues filming Tuesday and Wednesday on the festival grounds. We can’t wait to see Bradley wield a guitar and Stefani Germanotta—her real name, as she’ll be credited in the film—channel something other than her iconic Gaga persona.
