Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Gift Guide Is Officially Here, And It Does Not Disappoint

by Samantha McDonald

Every year, lifestyle company Goop rounds up an impressive list of gift-giving ideas. Of course, they’re anything but ordinary: These Gwyneth Paltrow-approved items have included a suitcase that costs more than airfare to a space exploration worth $90K, and if you think those are outrageous, get prepared to hear about this year’s roster. For instance, did you know you could get driving lessons from Formula 3 racers? Or that what’s missing in your life is an $8,300 portable yurt? (Spoiler alert: You don’t need it.)

The guide is divided into ten categories for every person on your list, whether you’re shopping for your jet-setting colleague (the “Traveler”), philosophy professor (the “Thinker”) or fitness enthusiast of a friend (the “Health Nut”). Seriously, even those under 18 who appreciate hoverboards make Goop’s to-gift list. But perhaps the standout is Goop’s “Ridiculous, But Awesome” guide, which really is ridiculous and awesome at the same time, with an infrared home sauna, underwater pavilion (“scuba license required”) and quite possibly the world’s fanciest toothpaste at $120. Can we just have it all?
