Clear your schedule the night of November 20th: Gigi Hadid was just named the host of this year’s American Music Awards in Los Angeles, and we’re already preparing our DVRs. The supermodel will star alongside Saturday Night Live pro Jay Pharaoh—an unlikely yet fun pairing that’s certain to bring out Gigi’s girl-next-door persona and Jay’s comedic chops. Other talking points will be Zayn Malik’s nomination, which might make for some major onstage #couplegoals, and sister Bella’s appearance thanks to boyfriend The Weeknd’s anticipated performance. While it’s not Gigi’s first time hosting (she’s previously emceed the iHeartRADIO MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto), we’re still excited to see her work her talent at the show (if only to keep up with her copious fashion choices throughout the night).
