She’s walked the world’s top runways, from Burberry to Chanel to Jason Wu, and appeared in box office hits like Paper Towns and Suicide Squad. Now we find out that Cara Delevingne is pursuing another field: writing. The model-turned-actress just revealed in an Instagram post that her first novel, Mirror, Mirror, will be released this October. Described as a “twisty coming-of-age story,” the book is centered on four 16-year-old friends trying to figure out who they are while dealing with typical teenage rigors like school and relationships.
“The process of putting this novel together has been life-changing and something I hold really close to my heart,” she wrote, even suggesting fans pre-order the novel (here) and get together in a virtual book club “to talk about this time in life, self-discovery, friendship, pain, triumph.” We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy.
