Caitlyn Jenner On The Cover Of Vanity Fair

by Megan Gustashaw

This morning Vanity Fair released the cover of its July issue—on newsstands June 9th—featuring the first image of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner. Annie Leibovitz photographed Jenner in her Malibu home wearing a simple white bodysuit against a gold wall for the issue. The accompanying interview was conducted by Pulitzer Prize–winning contributing editor Buzz Bissinger. In it, Jenner tells Bissinger, “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.”

We’re looking forward to reading Jenner’s story and think she looks beautiful in this history-making shot.

**Update: Here’s what Jenner’s kids had to say about the cover on social media.

Khloe: “We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!”
