Rule #1: Remove Makeup The Natural Way

"I use coconut oil every once in a while to take off makeup. I think that’s a weird little tool that everyone always thinks “Oh, it’s going to break you out,” but it really is the most natural way to take off your mascara."

Rule #2: Have Fun With Your Hair Color

"I’ve been every single color now from chocolate brown to platinum blonde and red in-between. I really feel like the color that makes me feel the most "me" is strawberry blonde. I had to dye my hair back [to blonde] so I’m kind of missing it, but I feel like for fall, after this movie that I’m doing, I’m going to go back to the strawberry blonde. It’s fun to change it up—that’s the cool thing about hair, is that you get to."

Rule #3: Pamper Your Pores

"When it comes to taking care of my skin, I'm obsessed with Biore's Charcoal Pore Strips."

Rule #4: Learn Tricks From The Pros

"I remember when I was on American Dreams, which was the first time I did red carpet events, I had tiny little clutches and my makeup artist at the time told me to pick up a lipstick that worked as your blush as well [so everything fit into the clutch]. And even in the crease of your eye you can dab some on as eye shadow, so you have a one-stop shop in your purse. I still use that trick."

Rule #5: Stick To What Works

"I have always used Maybelline Great Lash mascara since the beginning of time and it’s still my favorite. Laura Mercier’s concealer is something I buy in bulk. La Mer cream, I love and cannot live without—it's one of those things that every time I go and buy it I’m like, “Really, though?” [due to the price], but worth it 'cause I know it’s amazing."

Rule #6: Focus On Great Lashes

"I wear lots of mascara because I have really long lashes, so sometimes when I leave the house I wear nothing but mascara. My eyelashes and eyebrows are really, really blonde so if I don’t wear mascara it looks like I don’t have them. I also sometimes use a bobby pin to separate my eyelashes, which I kind of feel funny doing, but I think it does the trick."
