Prepare yourselves: Looks like Britney Spears might be getting her own musical. The Princess of Pop is the latest celebrity to get the Broadway treatment, but it’s not the kind of show you might expect. As she prepares to end her Las Vegas residency, Britney’s managers are looking for ways to continue bringing her chart-topping hits to the stage, and they reportedly met with theater veteran Jerry Mitchell, who worked behind the scenes for Tony Award–winning musical Kinky Boots. While the show is not expected to be autobiographical and a timeline has yet to be announced, we can’t help but already consider ourselves so lucky (get it?!) to have this exist in the future.
