Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Stole The Show On SNL Last Night

There is not a single couple in all of Hollywood we love more than Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who just genuinely seem crazy about each other in the most grounded, long-lasting (we hope!) way. To be honest, if these two started a reality show (they would never), we’d wager money on it beating out Keeping Up With The Kardashians in terms of ratings, even if there was no drama, ever. Given that we’d clearly watch these two just sit and stare at each other all day, it should come as no surprise that we were ecstatic to spot them in a Saturday Night Live cameo last night. The duo appeared during host Melissa McCarthy’s monologue, which centered around Mother’s Day. She selected one unsuspecting mom from the audience, who was then treated to a whirlwind backstage tour during which they randomly encountered Blake and Ryan. The bit was adorable, but it was also genius, because what Mother’s Day gift could possibly be better than a meet-and-greet with Blake and Ryan? We’re now rethinking the sad bouquets we sent our own moms, but here’s hoping they fell asleep—as this writer’s mom is wont to do—before seeing this adorable encounter last night so as not to have any basis for comparison. Watch it, with or without your mom, below.
