This Is Why Blake Lively Refuses To Google Herself

Chances are, you’ve Googled yourself at least once (and if you say you haven’t, we can see your pants on fire). As it so happens, Blake Lively is just as human as the rest of us, having succumbed to the foolhardy decision of virtually checking oneself out on the Internet—and despite her glorious blonde mane and impeccable style, the actress revealed she wasn’t exactly thrilled about the results of her online search. In a behind-the-scenes video for Variety‘s Power of Women New York issue, Blake was asked if she’d ever done the deed. “I have before, and it’s just ended in full depression,” she admitted. “So I think it’s a good rule of thumb not to Google yourself because the Internet is not nice.” The mother of two also shared a couple fun facts about herself: She watches The Wizard of Oz about “60 times a week” with her daughter James and said she’d go for Minnie Mouse if she could play any Disney character.
