When we said Beyoncé had a huge surprise planned for us come Coachella, we never imagined it would be this. Rumors had us believing the pop superstar would headline the festival in April (with special guests nonetheless!) despite the announcement that she’s pregnant with twins, but we now have confirmation she won’t perform due to doctors’ advice that she “keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months.” Of course, we can’t blame her, but here’s the silver lining: The statement also revealed she’ll appear at next year’s festival to make it up to the Beyhive. While it remains to be seen whether refunds will be offered, Coachella reps do ask that fans stay tuned for more information. Here’s to 2018!
