If 2016 showed kindness toward anyone, it was the Hadid sisters. Earlier this month, Gigi won the British Fashion Council’s coveted International Model of the Year award following a co-hosting gig at the American Music Awards and an appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris. Now we hear that little sis Bella—who just made her debut on the VS runway, starred in a Calvin Klein campaign and became the new face of Dior Beauty—was recently named the Model of the Year. The Models.com-based awards chose winners through votes made by 250 top designers, makeup artists, casting directors and photographers. It also included a Readers’ Choice, won by fan-favorite Kendall Jenner. (Gigi made runner-up!) It was truly a career-defining 2016 for the supermodel duo, and here’s hoping their streak extends into the new year.
