We’d be nostalgically remiss if we didn’t admit to our fondness for The Princess Diaries, otherwise known as Anne Hathaway’s breakout role in Hollywood in 2001. Though the original flick holds a special place in our hearts, it was The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement that gave us all the feels courtesy of a young and charming Chris Pine as the English suitor set to sweep Princess Mia off her feet. And while both the hunky actor and the Oscar winner have seen thriving careers since their aristocratic roles, it looks as though a Princess Diaries 3 is set for the big screen—according to the two previous films’ director, Garry Marshall. “I was with Anne Hathaway a couple weeks ago, it looks like we want to do Princess Diaries 3 in Manhattan,” he said. “Anne Hathaway is very pregnant, so we have to wait until she has the baby and then I think we’re going to do it.” All that’s left is securing the Queen herself, Julie Andrews.
