Amal Clooney Just Received This Amazing Honor

As one of the most influential lawyers in the world, Amal Clooney has made a name for herself by representing Nadia Murad, a Yazidi woman who escaped sexual slavery under ISIS. Now the human-rights attorney and her client are getting much-deserved recognition for their continued work on behalf of the militant group’s thousands of victims. At the 46th annual World Economic Forum’s Women of Impact dinner, the two appeared as guests of honor, with Amal looking chic as ever in 1963 vintage Chanel from William Vintage. (Her best accessory, though, was husband George Clooney, who accompanied her as they networked with the likes of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping.) We’re all for women who stand up for other women, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work Amal has done.
