7 Women Who Owned The Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet

by Megan Gustashaw

Celebrating the most innovative and exciting artists in the music industry, the Billboard Music Awards red carpet is always fun to watch. Bold, sexy and unafraid to break a few rules, musicians like J.Lo, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift never fail to make us feel like a closet filled with column gowns and shift dresses is just a little too safe. Bedazzled jumpsuits? Sign us up. Up-to-there splits? We’ll take two. Cutouts that’d make mom blush? A thousand times yes. In short, we love it for bringing some excitement to our lives right when wedding season (and the 8,000 dresses we need to buy in order to survive it) is beginning to give us the formal-fashion blahs. Tune into ABC on Sunday, May 17th at 8/7c to watch this year’s show and peruse some of our all-time favorite Billboard red carpet looks below.
