Here's What Our Editorial Director Is Gifting This Holiday Season

Whether you're looking for a few final presents or have yet to start buying gifts (guilty), there's always room for a little inspiration. Here, I'm sharing the pieces I'll be hastily wrapping for everyone from my family to my coworkers. Think luxe travel sets, affordable tech gadgets and, of course, plenty of fashion-forward steals. The best part? They're all online orders, because who has time to actually hit the shops?

For Family

I always invest in beautiful skincare products for my mother as well as a statement shoe, while my little sister typically needs a new party dress or something sparkly. My stylish sister-in-law has a one-year-old (hence the cute Cubcoat jacket that zips out of a cuddly toy) so she desperately needs a durable but polished carryall. My father is rarely seen without pistachios so I'm forcing some delightful snack bowls on him so he'll no longer leave a trail of shells. You're welcome, mom.

For Friends

My friends aren't afraid of a fashion risk, which makes them the best to shop for. Tangerine-hued party top? Yep. A pearl top-handle purse? Guaranteed to please. Playful earrings, statement rings or delicate bracelets never go awry and for the homebodies in my crew I rely on a sleek pajama top or a cashmere sleep set.

For Coworkers

My coworkers run the gamut from developers to freelance copy editors, which is why the gift list includes everything from an Echo Dot to a desk humidifier to a pair of dainty hoop earrings. I love these Slip sleep masks and Mother sock sets as whimsical-yet-useful presents for people I can't necessarily spend an arm and leg on but would still love to gift.

For My Husband

The holidays are a great opportunity to sneakily update my husband's wardrobe with some classic staples. He's great at finding a cool sweater or a fun pair of sneakers, but when it comes to integral pieces like a Dopp kit or a watch, he's less reliable. I love Buck Mason's raw denim because it breaks in more easily than that of other lines. Aether's outerwear is second to none thanks to its clean lines and intelligent fabrics, but I particularly love this shirt-jacket hybrid he'll use year-round in the LA climate.

For Myself

Spending so much time previewing products means I have an endless—and frequently refreshed—wish list, including items like this Hoorsenbuhs ring or an Away suitcase (that will charge my phone when I'm inevitably delayed flying out of JFK this holiday season). Other goodies like a pair of elevated combat boots from Vince, a smartly tailored Joseph blazer in feminine pink, an embroidered Barrie sweater and a Leica camera are all pieces that would be in heavy rotation and cherished forever. It wouldn't be a wish list without a statement bag—this Yuzefi style is so colorful and fun—or a pair of diamond earrings. Last but not least, I'm coveting a piece of lingerie from Anine Bing's new line, which features delicate lace, skinny satin straps and a classic color palette. Every piece feels so special.
