The Best Moisturizers, According To Models

by Celeste Hughey

Have you heard? New York Fashion Week was really cold! Record-breaking, sub-zero, 3-pairs-of-socks-and-long-underwear cold. And unless you did a SKII mask on the hour or were Prabal Gurung (seriously, how does he stay so dewy?), you probably experienced some full blown skin freak outs this Fashion Week. We asked models what they were using to keep their skin hydrated during the big chill because if anyone knows how to stay gorgeous, it’s these guys!

Carla

This French beauty immediately praised her home country's Bioderma makeup remover. The super gentle formula doesn’t strip or dry out skin—an absolute essential during Fashion Week’s constant makeup applications. Carla also uses tea tree oil products to pack in the moisture.

Samantha

Samantha combats dry skin with First Aid Beauty cream on her face and Sugar lip treatment for her pout. But when her skin is really dry, she slathers on nature’s ultimate hydrator: coconut oil.

Sanne

The French really know how to do beauty products. Luckily we can get some of them over stateside. French model Sanne swears by Embryolisse moisturizers. To keep her lips from cracking, she uses Eight Hour lip cream and piles it on overnight.

Leila

Leila is a Kiehl’s girl. She loves layering on their facial cream and Eye Alert her particular favorite—not only does it moisturize, it also reduces the puffiness and dark circles that come with being a runway regular.
