by Stephanie Montes

Feel like you’ve tried every eye liner trick in the book? This spring, ditch your dark liner and try something new with your eye makeup. From glossy lids to strategically styled lashes, these looks get you noticed for all the right reasons.

Apply a clear gloss on your lids over a pop of colored eye shadow. Wear with tidied brows and curled lashes (but skip the mascara altogether). Finish off the look by pairing eyes with a pop of color on the lips.

Twiggy Lashes

Get wider-looking eyes by accentuating lashes–it's like framing a piece of art.

For that dollish look, apply mascara and while it's still damp, pinch together small sections with your fingertips. A wash of a pale pastel shadow pulls your look together.

Reverse Smoky Eye

Apply a light layer of black shadow on the inner corner of eyes and blend outward. Conceal under the eye really well to prevent looking like a raccoon.
