How To Get Gorgeous Post-Gym Hair

Some mornings the sole reason we skip the gym is because there’s simply not enough time to get a work out in and get our hair into work-appropriate condition. Anyone else with us? To solve this dilemma we turned to DreamDry NYC Senior Stylist Faith Huffnagle for a few tips that ensure we’ll never have to choose between an a.m. sweat session and a good hair day again.

Achieve The Impossible: Gorgeous Post-Gym Hair

The Look: High Pony

Faith's tip: "To prep hair, spray Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray to absorb oil at the roots and add a fresh scent. Style your hair in a sleek, high ponytail using a flat boar-bristle brush and your hair's natural oils. Wrap a small section of hair around the elastic for a touch of instant glam."

The Look: Topknot

Faith's tip: "Start with a sleek, high ponytail. Separate the pony into 2 pieces and twist together (like a rope). Wrap the twist around the base of the pony, secure with pins and finish with a flexible-hold hair spray or a shine spray."

The Look: Wrapped Braid

Faith's tip: "Try a headband braid with a textured low ponytail for your workout. This will not only keep your hair out of your face, but it's a look that easily transitions from the gym to work to happy hour with just a spritz of hair refresher, like Oribe Côte d'Azur."
