Paris Fashion Week always brings out some of the boldest beauty looks of Fashion Month, and it would be fair to assume they’re created with only the most luxe formulas, but that simply isn’t the case—not at the H&M show at least.
According to Allure, a drugstore lip pigment was spotted backstage making its way onto the faces of top models including Gigi and Bella Hadid. While out shopping in the City of Light, makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo purchased lip colors from Cali-based L.A. Girl Cosmetics—a huge favorite of beauty influencers across social media. The product of choice for the H&M Studio runway was Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick in a blend of Manic and Love Triangle. Models graced the catwalk in a bright berry punch shade, perfectly contrasting the monochromatic hues of the collection.
The best part about this news? You can get a straight-from-the-runway look using products that’ll set you back only $5 a pop, a major bargain for rich, long-lasting lip color. L.A. Girl has a massive presence online, and it’s available at mass retailers such as Walmart.
