We think we can all agree that nothing beats a softly contoured face with a radiant glow. Giving off that naturally-sculpted effect is fairly easy for anyone, even makeup beginners. One of our favorite makeup tricks in the book is the classic figure three hack. For those who haven't heard of it, it's when you contour your face by drawing, that's right, the number three on your face. It may sound weird, but it works and will make your life easier. Plus, it's approved by the queen herself—Kim Kardashian West—and she's even gone as far as including it in her makeup tutorials. If you've been wanting to take contouring for a spin, but haven't been sure where to start, allow this simple and efficient makeup trick to lead the way.
Step #1: Draw Your Number 3
Taking your contour stick, draw a number three on each side of your face starting at your forehead. Bring the pencil to your cheekbone and then down to your jawline. Of course, don't forget to blend afterwards.
Step #2: Add Powder Bronzer
To further sculpt your forehead, cheeks and jawline add a bit of powder bronzer. This will intensify the effect and really give off that fully contoured look.
Step #3: Dust On Highlighter
Of course you can't forget your highlighter. Lightly dust some illuminating powder down the bridge of your nose, above your cheekbones and on top of your Cupid's bow. You'll be glowing in no time.
