For a way to punch up your daytime look, apply gel eyeliner with a flat brush to the lower waterline. Instead of stopping at the edge of the eye, extend the formula slightly farther into a faux cat eye. To give the line a finished look, apply the formula just underneath the upper lid at the outer corner of the eye. Keep the upper lid bare, but apply mascara.

Prime the eye by applying a creamy pencil liner in a black or brown shade to the upper and lower lash line. For the pop of color, dab a flat brush into a highly pigmented eye shadow and place liberally under the lower lid, working it into the inner corner. Choose a color that best suits you, though we're currently partial to any jewel-toned hue (perfect for spring). Finish with a few coats of mascara to allow the eyes to really pop.
