Easy Ways To Update Your Look This Week
Stuck in a beauty rut of topknots, basic eyeliner and blah lip color? We feel you. That’s exactly why we couldn’t be more excited about the slew of makeup and hair inspiration flooding in from New York Fashion Week. Taking cues from the runways, we’ve rounded up an array of ideas for updating your beauty look every day this week. Suddenly excited for the workweek, right? Us too.
Monday: Hybrid Pony
Part hair into three sections (do the two sides and create a smaller section in the center). Create a French braid down the middle and secure with a tiny elastic. Pull all sections into a low pony and secure with another elastic.

Tuesday: Bold Liner
Jazz up a clean and simple makeup look with a thick stroke of black eyeliner on the lower lash line. Keep lids bare, and accentuate lashes with a thin coat of mascara.

Wednesday: Braid Bun
Tease at the crown to add texture and create subtle lift. Pull hair into a loose pony and braid. Loosely wrap hair into a low bun and pin to secure.

Thursday: Berry Lips
One of the biggest lip colors for spring is a soft berry shade. Go for a raspberry hue and then blot with a tissue. Repeat this a couple more times for a natural, lived-in look that lasts.

Friday: Sleek Hair
Now that you've gotten all you can from second, third and even fourth-day hair, put it into a deep side part, straighten the ends and use a shine-enhancing pomade to smooth flyways and create the on-trend wet look.

Saturday: New Shadow Shade
Go ahead and try an orange eye shadow. Use a cream in the shade on the lid and along the lower lash line. Keep cheeks subtle to avoid detracting from your bold peepers.

Sunday: Eye-Catching Mani
Opt for a vibrant-hued nail polish. There is nothing like an electric blue lacquer with a metallic finish to make you feel ready to tackle the busy workweek ahead.
