This Drugstore Shampoo Made My Hair Smell Better Than My Perfume All Day
You know those girls with hair that smells so good, you wonder if it’s their shampoo or perfume? I’m not one of those girls. Even when my hair is freshly washed and air dried, it doesn’t retain that really good shampoo scent—and believe me, I’ve tried a lot of different ones on my quest. From expensive to affordable, nothing does it for me. Well, nothing used to do it for me.
Two days ago, when washing my hair I cracked open a new shampoo and conditioner duo—Pantene’s Repair and Protect. Pretty instantly after lathering the shampoo into my hair the whole bathroom starts to smell amazing—a fresh, floral scent. I rinse, then condition and rinse again before getting ready as usual.
As I'm getting dressed, the scent lingers on my wet hair, which typically just smells like, well, wet hair. As the day goes on, my dry hair maintains that fresh scent. Any time a gust of wind hits, any time I flip my hair, I wonder if my shampoo really did just outshine my perfume. It did. Then I realize, I’m one of those girls with really good-smelling hair and all it took was $4.
