5 Beauty Looks To Copy For Girls’ Night Out
It’s Friday: time to let your hair down (figuratively speaking, of course—we actually love an updo), experiment with new hair and makeup ideas and head out on the town with your girls. Take this opportunity to try unexpected shades on your eyes and lips or to rock a fun new ‘do. In search of fresh inspo, we turned to the runways of London and Milan fashion weeks for cool and creative beauty looks—just in time for the weekend.
An Unexpected Wave
This 'do seen at Kristian Aadnevick's show during London Fashion Week is reminiscent of when you take your hair out of a tight ponytail but better. Use a flatiron to straighten hair at the roots and the ends. Create a wave in the middle section by rotating the straightener inward and outward. Spritz with a finishing spray and add some shine with a drop of oil at the ends.

Super-Bold Brows
Italian ready-to-wear brand Genny shows us that filling in your entire brow is so last season at its show in Milan. Next time you reach for a brow pencil, draw a crisp line at the top of the brow and brush brows up and out. Pair with a cool-toned eye shadow and nude lip.

A Cool Combo
Give your beauty look a one-two punch by trying a new lipstick-and-eye shadow combo á la Luisa Beccaria's show at Milan Fashion Week. Sweep a metallic gold on the eyes and go with a deep raspberry on the lips. Keep the rest of your look neutral and matte.

An Impactful Pout
Once upon a time black lipstick was considered goth–London-based fashion label Giles shows us that those days are behind us. Give a dewy, fresh complexion some edge with a shiny, black lipstick. Wear the bold lip with equally bold brows and a natural eye shadow.

Princess Hair
Just because you're leaving the boys at home tonight doesn't mean you can't add some romance into your look. Take inspiration from Luisa Beccaria's Milan show and blow-dry hair with a round brush and then wrap it around large rollers until your makeup is done. Once you take the rollers out, lightly twist hair back on both sides and secure with bobby pins.
