Proof That You Can Still Wear Glitter In Your 30s

Some consider it taboo to attempt sparkly makeup once your turn 30, but we don’t agree. Case in point: Thirty-five-year-old Oscar nominee Ruth Negga rocked glitter-topped eyes, and pulled the look off in an incredibly chic way.

The Loving star wore champagne-colored sparkles to seal in her neutral shadow, and completed the effect with rosy flushed cheeks and a deep pink on her lips. Although her eyelids were dazzling, the complementary tones kept the impact subtle. We don’t necessarily suggest hitting the boardroom in full-on disco glam, but Ruth is proof that glitter can be a staple for a night out in your 30s and beyond.
