Lily Aldridge is the latest in a string of supermodels closing out the year with a brand new look. Over the weekend she took to Instagram (as every It girl does) and debuted a retro-inspired, curled lob. For those who are already fans of Lily (or are just as obsessed with models as we are), the change comes as a surprise, as she rarely strays from her cascading California girl waves.
The cut appears to be styled for a shoot which is common in the modeling world, as these women often must commit to changing their look for the sake of a campaign or editorial. We never imagined Lily in anything other than midriff-grazing locks, but her new chic take on the lob is making us want to give our own hairstylists a call. We can’t wait to see how she rocks her new ‘do off-duty.
