Actress and style star Kate Bosworth was among the fashionable cadre of It girls attending our ZOEasis party in Palm Springs over the weekend, and we couldn’t help but notice her edgy-cool spin on the classic ponytail, perfect for the hot desert temps.
From the front, Kate appeared to have a sleek updo. However, when she turned around and we got a view of the back, we were completely surprised. Her hairstylist, Bridget Brager, shared a detail shot on her Instagram account. Kate’s hair was actually styled in three Dutch braids that cascaded down her neck and joined at the ends in a loose ponytail. Such hybrid styles are certainly having a moment, and they’re perfect for festival season.
