When it was announced that supermodel Gigi Hadid would be designing her own capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger, excitement from fans and the fashion crowd ensued. After wrapping up a hugely successful Fashion Month, including her very own carnival-themed show, Gigi is now on a world tour promoting her line as well as her nautical-inspired fragrance, The Girl (an update on the ’90s staple fragrance).
For her Tokyo press stop, Gigi wore one of her best kitschy beauty looks yet. While we’re used to seeing her in fresh-faced makeup and natural beachy waves, she instead paid homage to Harajuku culture. Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett gave her a half-up, half-down style with space buns.

Makeup artist Erin Parsons gave a nod to Tommy Hilfiger’s signature red, white and blue color scheme with Gigi’s eye shadow. She swept subtle tones of burgundy on her lids, electric blue eyeliner on her waterline and added a crystal finish to her inner and outer eye corners.
Gigi always makes sure to have her manicurist Mar y Sol by her side for camera-worthy nails. For the Tokyo trip, she went for a blue and white look with layers of abstract diagonals.
