Start by blow-drying hair with a round thermal brush. Adding a volumizing mousse or spray on the roots gives you the extra boost you need for that big, bedhead look.

Section Hair And Curl

Separate hair into three sections: at the crown, the bottom left and the bottom right. Start by curling the top section with a 2" wand and then move onto the bottom sections. The larger the barrel, the more volume and bounce you achieve.

Roll And Pin Curls

For maximum lift and movement, roll hair and pin at the scalp as if you were wearing rollers. Continue curling and pinning until all hair is rolled and spritz with a shine-enhancing hairspray.

Remove Pins

Leave hair in pins as you finish getting ready. Once you have perfected your makeup and gotten dressed, release your curls and add a finishing spray as you sift through sections.

The Finished Look

For an optional, added lift, tease at the crown and smooth hair with a boar brush.
