Spice Up Your Cinco De Mayo Celebrations With This Non-Classic Margarita Recipe

To make The Golden Margarita, shake one and a half ounces
Altos Blanco Tequila
, one ounce
Nixta Licor de Elote
, three-quarter ounces pineapple juice, a half ounce lime juice, and a quarter ounce agave in a shaker with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime slice.

For the Baja Tanga from
Mex 1 Coastal Cantina
, shake one and a half ounces 100% agave blanco tequila, two ounces watermelon puree, one ounce rosé wine, three-quarter ounces lime juice, and a half ounce agave nectar in a shaker. Strain into a glass with ice, a salted rim, and watermelon rind.

For the Prickly Pear & Agave Margarita by Manny Hinojosa, global brand ambassador of Tequila Cazadores, add one and a half parts
Tequila Cazadores Blanco
, a quarter ounce
St-Germain
, one ounce lime juice and prickly pear puree each, and three-quarter ounces agave nectar to a mixing glass. Shake and serve.

Make the Dragon Nectar margarita by combining one and a half ounces
Tepozán Blanco tequila
,
three-quarter ounces lime juice, a half teaspoon agave nectar, one ounce orange juice, a quarter ounce pineapple juice, and a quarter teaspoon dragonfruit tea in a shaker. Garnish with a dragonfruit slice and flower.

For the Spicy Cucumber Margarita, add two ounces
LALO Tequila
and lime juice each, one and a half ounces pineapple juice, a half ounce cucumber, and one to two tablespoons agave syrup to a blender; strain when smooth. Add to shaker with muddled jalapeño slices and ice, and shake until chilled. Strain and serve with lime wedges.

Le Marg is out-of-the-box but easy: Simply combine three ounces
Le Moné Meyer Lemon Orange Lime
and one ounce tequila of your choice. Add fresh cut limes and a spicy salted rim, and enjoy!

The Hibiscus Margarita calls for one and a half ounces
El Tequileño Platinum
, two ounces sweetened hibiscus juice, and a half ounce each of freshly squeezed lime juice and agave syrup. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until ice cold and strain into a rocks glass over cubed ice. Garnish with a hibiscus flower.

For the spicy Ginger Piña Marg, start by muddling fresh
jalapeños in a shaker. Add two ounces
818 Tequila Reposado
, and one ounce each of ginger liqueur, agave, pineapple puree, and lime juice. Shake with ice until chilled. Pour over ice and serve.

To create the “Not A Margarita,” mix two ounces
iichiko Saiten
with a half ounce each of lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and triple sec in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a citrus wheel.
