Haylee Thorson

Haylee Thorson is a New York-based writer and contributor to BDG’s Lifestyle, Parenting, and Culture & Innovation portfolios. Her areas of coverage include everything from beauty and fashion to celebrity news and entertainment to relationships and wellness.

In the past, Haylee has written for lifestyle publications such as New Face Magazine and Glitter Magazine, and now works as a freelance entertainment writer at Distractify. In 2021, she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Journalism from San Diego State University and was selected as the ‘Top Media Studies’ graduate of her program. After undergrad, she headed straight to graduate school and is currently in the process of completing her Master’s in Magazine Journalism at New York University.

Having lived abroad for six years, Haylee is a self-proclaimed travel aficionado.
