Caroline began her editorial career as a Vogue intern, spending many hours in the fabled fashion closet. Though the shoes were glorious, words were her first love, so she set her sights on publishing, working as an editor at Penguin Random House before jumping off the proverbial cliff to write. She frequently works as a collaborator/ghostwriter for notable people, and has co-authored nine books, including multiple New York Times bestsellers. She is also the author of Best Babysitters Ever, a series of humorous middle grade novels inspired by The Baby-Sitters Club. Besides TZR, her work has been featured by Vogue, Elle, The Washington Post, Refinery29, A Cup of Jo, and others.
